PRODUCT DETAILS

In 1794, Nicolas Jacques Conté developed the modern graphite mine composed of a mixture of clay and graphite that finally made it possible to scale the hardness of the lead.

Today, the Graphite Pencil is still made in France, according to the same rules of the art. It is composed in a balanced way of clay and graphite. The graphite lead is a slightly silvery grey colour, particularly silky because it is impregnated with a wax. It does not scratch the paper, it slides on the support.

The Graphite Pencil is recommended for meticulous and precise work, whether it is to build a sophisticated perspective, a cartoon character, or a nude of impeccable construction.

The graduations range from H (Hard) for hardness to B (Bold) for softness. The higher the number, the harder or softer the pencil.

This metal box offers the entire range of Graphite Pencils, from 3H to 6B:

3H, 2H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B.
