There are a few shipping menu options that become available once your payment method is selected. It's not the most obvious so don't worry if the first option goes through automatically at £6 for most goods and £12 if you are purchasing heavier or larger than A2 items. We will email you with the email provided with your purchase if there are any issues with your order, such as items that have become out of stock.



CLICK & COLLECT MONDAY - SATURDAY 10-6 & SUNDAY 1-5


Free Click & Collect from 13:00 The Day After You Order (Sunday from 14:00 as we open at 13:00)

We will email you once your order is ready to collect. You can order online and select the shipping method Tollcross Click & Collect to pick up from in shop the following day providing that day is Monday to Saturday they are usually ready from 13:00 and Sundays from 14:00. If you wish to place an order to collect on the same day please email to say so after you place the order and we will email you back when it is ready. 


We are a small team and need a wee bit of time to be able to pick your orders between serving the customers in shop. They will not automatically be ready for you immediately after you place an order. You can email or call us if you have any questions.


At the moment there is no option for adding delivery instructions at checkout so once you place an order with us, please send us any delivery instructions immediately by email quoting your order reference. 


GIFT VOUCHER MAIL


Our Gift Vouchers are great for those more tricky to buy for or to gift someone the choice to go wild with art supplies goodies. They can be purchased in shop or online .


We do not put a name on the physical voucher so it can be easily gifted.

Our vouchers can be used in our bricks and mortar shop. You can use your voucher to purchase any of the products we sell in our shop. Art Club, Group, Students and Young Scott discounts can still be applied when redeeming vouchers in shop. They can be used over several transactions so you don't need to spend it all in one go or be laden with several vouchers. They are valid for a year plus at the moment you get an added 6 months due to the difficulties caused by the ongoing pandemic.

We can post the voucher at the cost of a 1st class stamp to you or the person the voucher is for. Select ' Post A Gift Voucher ' option from the shipping menu after payment option and before completing the sale at checkout. We will post out a small origami animal with the voucher and if you would like us to write out a personal message please email info@edinburghartshop.co.uk after you order or call us on 0131 229 1809 quoting your order confirmation number as soon as possible with the details. 

If you select the Post A Gift Voucher option, we can also email you a copy of the voucher details. With the ongoing postal issues this means you can always print it out or forward the email to gift it should the physical voucher be delayed.

If you select Tollcross Click & Collect we will hold the voucher for you to collect from us at your convenience. It will have the purchasers name on the outer packaging unless you let us now otherwise. We do not put a name on the physical voucher so it can be easily gifted. Our current system will send a notification to say it has been shipped but don't worry, it just means the voucher is ready to be collected.

There does seem to be an issue with the PayPal checkout that it doesn't always allow the recipient's name to be changed. All you need to do is check your confirmation email and contact us as soon as possible with the name and address you would like it to be sent to instead, quoting your order confirmation number. We can also add a personal message for you, just send us the details.

At the moment it is not possible to redeem them online but you can email us with a screen shot of your basket contents or a list of items you require, your voucher purchase date, code and amount and we can arrange from there how to get things to you.

We can not offer money in exchange for vouchers.

If you realise after the sale has gone through that the shipping method isn't correct for what you have purchased, just contact us as soon as you can by email with your confirmation number and we can arrange for you to pay the correct postage or refund an over payment of postage.


As we are a small team, orders will often be picked, packed and sent the day after you order. At the moment we are not able to post at weekends. Please contact us by email if you have any issues.


Any orders placed during the festive period usually take much longer to arrive.

 

SENDING AS A GIFT OR TREAT TO ANOTHER?
If you are ordering goods on behalf of someone else or wish to send a gift to another the PayPal checkout allows for address changes but not the actual name at the moment. All you need to do is email before or after you place the order and we can make sure the correct details end up on the package. OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

We are receiving regular deliveries and uploading the online shop as quickly as possible. If you are planning to come to the shop and see something is out of stock online it there is a high chance it is actually there so please contact us. We can update the system to enable you to click and collect for a swift visit or for mail order.

 


Our Online Shop Is A Work In Progress

You will notice some empty categories and products with no images and little information. We are adding to our online shop daily and are working as quickly as possible to make it as user friendly as possible. 

Sometimes stock amounts are incorrect so we will let you know if there is anything out of stock from your order and will offer an alternative where possible or if you are happy to wait until it is back in stock we can get it to you at a later date. If neither options are suitable for you we can refund that item for you.
