Glassine paper can be used to protect the surface of prints, drawings, paintings (provided the paint is completely dried) and other artworks from spilling, exposure, or rubbing during storage or presentation. It will not damage or smudge pastel, charcoal or graphite. Often found in pastel paper sketchbooks separating the pages.
